Shoutbox

A shoutbox might be a good way to encourage members (potential ones as well) to continue spending time on the forums. Although the benefits and costs must be weighed in order for this to be a feasible idea.
One major con I can forsee is that it might be spammed up.
However if it's only available to members, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Shouldn't be too much of a problem, do a search for "php script shoutbox". May have to sift thru a few to find free script but it's out there.
