iDomainSite is infamous around these parts
Default Sorry about the slow site

Over the last 14 hours or so the site has been "very" slow, so i apologize for the agonizing page loads.

The server itself is great load wise, however the datacenter is having connectivity issues and are working to balance everything back out. I've been using this server for over a year and it's the first real issue it's had so i guess the techs are forgiven for a day of slowness out of 400+ days.

Hope to have it back to normal soon.

The connectivity is starting to improve, so you should be experiencing near normal page loads again and hopefully it will stay that way.

However, i have ordered another server which is an 8 Core PowerEdge and it will be mirrored in a Failover configuration enabling the database to be run off one server and the webpages and other services such as Email off the other server.

In the event of high loads or if one server goes down, the other will takeover and continue to run both the Webpages and Database because of the mirroring.

This arrangement will be alot faster, and virtually eliminate the chance of the site ever going down. There shouldn't be any downtime during the switch, however if there is i will post in advance letting everyone know.

The techs are setting up the new server at the moment, and i hope to have the site migrated over to the new dual server over the weekend.

iDomainSite has been "bugging out" and reloading the homepage at times when trying to view threads or forums. Another site i have on this server is being hit quite heavily with a lot of traffic, and maxing out the MySql connections so hopefully the upgrade will fix this.

The site is transfered to the new servers, and both the file server and database server are functioning 100%

I've still got to set-up eAccellerator and a few other modules up to make the page loads a bit quicker, however things should be a lot more stable now.

So my apologies for not posting much in the last few days, but i've had a lot to do with the server and site transfers.

Also iDomainSite can be accessed via iDomainTalk.com and iDomainChat.com as well.
