| Administrator | After the last server failed to live up to expectations, I've just purchased a new server and moved the site across. This server is an Intel Dual Xeon Clovertown (8 CPU's) with a RAID 10 configuration. It's a much more stable server and so far it's running rings around the old one performance wise and that's before Apache and MySql has been fully optimized. I dislike moving servers as much as i dislike moving house, so hopefully this is the last server update for a long time. So again my apologies for not being around a great deal posting, but the last server caused 2 weeks of headaches and consumed all my time just keeping it running. Once i get the last of the accounts changed over i will be back more often.

| Administrator | Now that's what i like to hear. ![]() I've enabled MySql query caching, just not 100% optimized yet and also Gzip enabled. I'm looking to compile xCache on the server later today, after that i will tweak my.cnf to get MySql query caching at it's optimal settings. So we should get slightly better response times than what we have now.
