Powerful Content Management System:
plxCMS is one very good, easy to use and very flexible Content Management System. The features include (but not limited to):
1. Easy management of page and articles content - WYSIWYG editor, list/add/edit/delete of pages and articles.
2. Customizable sidebar - if you wish you can have totally different content in the sidebar for every single page or article. If you don't put any special content for a page then it will use the default (customizable too) sidebar content. So you will have default sidebar content for all the pages, except the pages where you want to customize it.
3. Reusable snippets of code - these snippets are so powerful that i don't think i can explain in few sentences.
4. Member (admin) accounts, managed by the master admin.
5. Easy to upload, manage and insert photos and videos. You can even insert external videos from YouTube, Brightcove or any other video sharing service.
6. Page templates - you can easily change the page layout just by selecting an appropriate template. For example you can select "Gallery" and then the page will be formatted like a gallery - all the photos uploaded for this page will be tiled as thumbnails and when the thumbnail is clicked the big size photo is displayed. The available formats are: "Standard" (using your custom format as you make it in the visual editor); "2 Columns" (the text is put in the first wider column and in the second column all the photos are displayed as clickable thumbnails); "Photo Gallery" (as explained above); "Video Gallery" (similar to photo gallery but using the uploaded videos).
7. Movable content - import and export functionality for the articles. The export is made in XML format and you can move/copy articles from one site (using plxCMS) to another.
8. Optimized for search engines and meets all the standards for valid XHTML
